Sources: Wolves submit bid for Bowen

Wolves have submitted a bid for Fleetwood sensation Reiss Bowen, sources have told Football Insider.

A number of Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in signing the 15-year-old striker this summer.

But Wolves have moved to steal a march on their rivals by making an offer for the teenage ace as they look to win the race for his signature.

Wolves' Under-21 side play in the top division of the Premier League 2 setup following their promotion at the end of the 2021-22 season.

At the senior level, confusion still reigns about the future of manager Julen Lopetegui following his cryptic comments about the club's financial situation towards the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
