Tottenham are preparing a second offer for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha after having an initial £12million bid rejected, according to a report.

The 23-year-old was the subject of a sensational bid from Spurs on Thursday as they attempt to push through a deal before next Wednesday.

The Sun claim that Spurs are set to re-enter the market for Zaha with a player-plus-cash offer including an instant replacement in Belgium international Nacer Chadli.

Former FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli is one of those, while Alex Pritchard, Federico Fazio and Nabil Bentaleb have all subsequently walked through the exit door at the North London club.

Chadli is considered surplus to requirements by manager Mauricio Pochettino, with Erik Lamela, Heung Min-Son and Christian Eriksen all considered above the 27-year-old, despite making 40 appearances in all competitions last term.

Two-time England international Zaha impressed for Alan Pardew’s side last season, scoring five goals and producing seven assists in 43 league and cup encounters.

Tottenham have been in the market for a new winger, with Marseille's Georges N'Koudou edging closer to a move before next Wednesday's deadline.
