Schalke 04 confirmed that their dazzling playmaker Max Meyer would be leaving in the summer, and Liverpool fans are desperate to see him at Anfield.
The 22-year-old Germany Under-21 international will be a free agent and will leave Schalke in June, and news of his availability will have Europe's elite clubs on high alert.
Liverpool have been consistently linked with Meyer, although Premier League rivals Arsenal are said to have an interest too.

He's certainly got bags of promise although it's fair to say he's not the finished article after being shifted from an attacking midfield position to more of a deep playmaker.
However, under Jurgen Klopp you have to imagine that he would live up to his huge potential – and it's a move that Liverpool fans are desperate to see in the summer.
