West Ham should think twice about signing Club Brugge forward Noa Lang next year, according to Paul Robinson.

The former Spurs and England number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, said David Moyes already has enough forwards at his disposal and "does not need" Lang, 23.

Lang has attracted interest from Premier League clubs following a standout 2021-22 campaign.

According to ExWHUEmployee, via Claret and Hugh (13 October), the Hammers hold a concrete interest in Lang.

The Hammers are said to be laying the groundwork ahead of a potential move for the forward next year.

Lang has three years remaining on his contract with Club Brugge.

When asked by Football Insider if the Netherlands international would be a welcome addition at the London Stadium, Robinson said: “For me, they do not need him.

"Is he better than what David Moyes has currently got? I don’t think so.

"Look at the players West Ham have got in those positions, the likes of [Jarrod] Bowen, Pablo Fornals [Lucas] Paqueta and [Maxwel] Cornet. They have so much talent in that area.

"I cannot understand why they would go for Lang. He is not better than the players they currently have in their starting XI in my opinion.”

Lang has contributed 27 goals and 28 assists in 93 appearances across all competitions for Club Brugge.

The winger has one goal in seven games for the Netherlands.
