Traore tipped to dazzle at Liverpool in 2022 after '100%' update - pundit

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would take Adama Traore’s game to the next level, according to Kevin Campbell.

The former Arsenal and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 25-year-old would “add another dimension” to Liverpool’s phenomenal attack.

Traore has 18 months left on his contract at Molineux and so far talks over a new deal have bore no fruit.

As revealed by Football Insider on Tuesday, (30 November), the Reds are on red alert after Wolves slashed their price tag for the winger to £18-20million.

A Wolves source told this site that the club are willing to sell Traore to fund a permanent move for Hwang Hee-chan.

When asked by Football Insider if Traore would likely be tempted by a switch to Anfield to be an impact substitute, Campbell said: “100 per cent he would.

“£18million is cheap money for a club like Liverpool.

“Can you imagine playing against Liverpool and then seeing Traore warming up. Just when you thought you were safe.

“Obviously, the levels at Liverpool are crazy right now. But under the tutelage of Klopp, Traore could go to another level. He would add another dimension to their attack.

“I’m sure fans would love to see that one come off.”

Traore has been a bit-part player at Wolves since the arrival of Bruno Lage.

In all competitions this season he has made 15 appearances, eight of which have been starts.
