Liverpool supporters have conceded that Trent Alexander-Arnold is going to leave the football club after a new report about his contract negotiations.

According to a new report, Liverpool are £100,000-a-week short on persuading the England international to sign a mega five-year contract.

The Reds have offered Alexander-Arnold a £70k-a-week pay rise on his current £180k-a-week wage, but the right-back is currently holding out for a £350k-a-week contract.

Alexander-Arnold’s Anfield deal expires at the end of this season, and he will be free to negotiate with foreign clubs in January as speculation continues to link him with a move to Real Madrid.

However, as it stands none of them have put pen to paper on a new deal and could sign pre-contract agreements with foreign teams next month.

Liverpool fans are disappointed in Trent Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool supporters have admitted they expect the right-back to depart the club at the end of the season, although some have blamed the defender himself due to how much money he wants.

Fans have claimed that Alexander-Arnold’s “not worth £300k+-a-week” as others stated the Reds should “let him go” if he’d rather be a “superstar over being the leader for his boyhood club.”
