'Unbelievable' - Exclusive: Hutton blown away by West Ham player who goes 'Under the radar'

Alan Hutton showered West Ham midfielder Mark Noble with praise following him making his 500th senior appearance.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the former Scotland international revealed he didn’t think Noble got enough credit outside of the London Stadium for his achievements.

The 32-year-old made his 500th appearance of his senior career on Monday in the Hammers’ 3-1 loss to Arsenal.

Hutton explained that while Noble is loved by everyone at the Irons, he tends to fly under-the-radar in terms of how everyone else views him.

When asked if Noble gets the credit he deserves following his 500th senior appearance, Hutton told Football Insider: “He’s done unbelievable.

“Everyone says Mr.West Ham and within the West Ham walls, he is absolutely loved.

“And I think he doesn’t get enough credit outside of West Ham, he kind of goes under the radar a wee bit.

“I think it’s because there are so many top-class players in the Premier League, he does get a bit overlooked because it’s a great feat to play that amount of games.

“He stayed when they went down, he battled to get them back, so he has done unbelievable.

“So yeah, it’s a shame that he’s never been capped as that would have been the icing on the cake but I’m sure he’ll be happy with what he has done in his West Ham career.”

Noble has regularly featured for Manuel Pellegrini’s side this season as he has featured 15 times, racking up one goal and one assist in the process.

The 32-year-old has played a total of 482 times for the Hammers and is contracted to stay at the London Stadium until 2021.

In other West Ham news, it can be REVEALED that the club have plans in place for duo to take over next week.
