Aston Villa won a valuable three points in their race for promotion and got one over on their bitter rivals with a 2-0 win against Birmingham on Sunday.
And fans were left first disappointed by the performance of Conor Hourihan and then elated after a late wonder goal from him the sealed the victory.
Albert Adomah put Villa in the lead before Hourihane added the second in the 81st minute.
It was a stunning strike from 20 yards but it came after a poor display from the 27-year-old midfielder.
However, the goal was enough for redemption in the eyes of the fans, with his display really being a game of two halves.
