Former midfielder Vinnie Jones praised the Leeds team after their point against Newcastle on Friday evening.
Garry Monk’s side travelled north to face the second placed Magpies at St. James’ Park in a crucial top of the table clash.
Each point is vital at this late stage of the season and a late effort from Chris Wood was enough to cancel out a second half Jamaal Lascelles goal.
A late equaliser often feels like three points gained and Jones posted on his personal Twitter account after the match that it was a “good point.”
Oh what fun it is to see #leeds get a point away from home 👏👏👏 good point boys

Leeds’ draw has meant they are now sat in fifth place and three points clear of Fulham with just four matches of the season left.
They will be hosting Wolves next at Elland Road on Monday afternoon and they will be keen to pick up three points against Paul Lambert’s 16th placed side.
The Midlands side have suffered two defeats against Brighton and Bristol City respectively in their last two outings and Monk’s team will be licking their lips at the prospect at playing a team out of form.
Meanwhile, the Cottagers will be taking on 12th side Aston Villa, who can no longer finish in the top six after Saturday’s 3-1 defeat against Reading.
In other Leeds news, Noel Whelan was full of praise for this Whites attacker after the draw against Newcastle.
