Watch: Leeds ace Pontus Jansson shows off incredible skills from 2005

By Amir Mir

Footage has emerged on Twitter of Leeds ace Pontus Jansson showing off his incredible array of skills from 2005.

The 25-year-old, who would have been a teenager at the time, is showcasing a number of tricks on the ball in cold conditions.

Here is the video of Jansson:

Centre-back Jansson would have most likely been at Arlövs BI or Malmo at the time, both Swedish club, as he came through the ranks of those teams.

At this moment in time, he is on loan from Italian side Torino, where he has impressed during his current spell at Elland Road.

Jansson has shown great ability on the ball this season in the Championship as well as proving that he is a hard hitting defender.

These performances have helped Garry Monk’s side establish themselves as a top-six team in the Championship as they are vying for promotion to the Premier League.

The Sweden international has played 21 games in all competitions for the Yorkshire club, helping them secure nine clean sheets in the process.

He has also found the back of the net on two occasions, two headed goals, the first away at Norwich then against Midlands giants Aston Villa.

Jansson will be looking to maintain these performances when Monk’s side travel to Barnsley next Saturday before they look to produce the goods in the FA Cup in the following week.

In other Leeds news, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes this senior man deserves credit for the Whites promotion push (not Monk).
