Leeds match against Newcastle at St. James’ Park in April has already sold out – and Whites fans on Twitter have taken it as an opportunity to mock the north east club.
The second tier pair are well known for their brilliant support and are usually near the top in the support tables.
In fact, the Magpies currently boast the best average home support in the Championship this season with 51,110, almost 20,000 more than Aston Villa in second.
Meanwhile, Leeds are below Derby, Brighton and Villa in the same table in fifth with 26,927.
There now looks to be another huge attendance at Newcastle’s famous ground and the club announced on their official Twitter account on Wednesday that the clash against the Whites had sold out.

This naturally brought a reaction from the Leeds fan base on social media, who are very much used to club’s selling out against them.
Large sections of the Yorkshire giants’ support mocked the Newcastle lot for only turning up to watch Leeds, while others were just celebrating another sell out.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:
exactly. You came to watch the Leeds then, too.

Leeds and Newcastle are also battling at the top end of the Championship table and this could prove a key clash as the season near it’s final stages.
