Sources: Club have bid accepted for Brentford, Crystal Palace and Watford target Garbett
Torino have beaten Premier League trio Brentford, Crystal Palace and Watford to the signing of forward sensation Matthew Garbett, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The English teams have all registered their interest in landing the New Zealand teen from Falkenbergs.
But a recruitment source has told Football Insider the Swedish outfit have accepted a bid from Serie A side Torino.
Garbett signed a three-year contract when he joined Falkenbergs from Western Suburbs in January 2020.
He described himself at the time as a “player who loves to dribble and create chances” and “doesn’t hesitate when chances appear in front of goal.”
Garbett made his senior debut for Western Suburbs in 2017.

The 19-year-old would go on to play over 30 times for the Porirua-based outfit and play a leading role in their 2018-19 NZFC title triumph.
He is accomplished in a range of midfield roles as well in the centre-forward and wide attacking positions.
Garbett is yet to win his first senior cap for New Zealand but has scored four goals in 10 matches for them at Under-17 level.
He played up front with Burnley’s Chris Wood as New Zealand reached the quarter-finals of the Olympic football tournament this summer.
Premier League new boys Brentford and Watford as well as an in-transition Crystal Palace have been among the division’s busiest clubs this summer.
Brentford have spent £34m on six new recruits, Watford have brought in 10 new faces for £13m, and Palace have signed six players for over £45m.
