Mainstay must be axed after blunder: Three things learned from Celtic draw against Hibernian

Celtic looked in complete control of the game against Hibs at Easter Road on Sunday, with the Hoops 2-0 up thanks to two second-half goals from Scott Sinclair.

However, the Bhoys almost conspired to lose the game as Neil Lennon’s side roared back with two goals in three minutes to claim a point and could have won the game but for a late goal-line clearance by Mikael Lustig.

The Hoops remain five points clear with a game in hand at the top of the Scottish Premiership, but manager Brendan Rodgers won’t be pleased with the way the team crumbled in the second-half.

He will be expecting better as Celtic’s busy schedule continues with games against nearest challengers Rangers and Aberdeen in the weeks ahead.

There were plenty of low points and high points in the rollercoaster of a Premiership clash.
