Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hailed Tottenham star Dele Alli as the “complete player” ahead of Sunday’s clash.
The two north London rivals are set to meet each other on Sunday afternoon at White Hart Lane in an encounter which sees second take on sixth.
There is very rarely any good comments traded between the two camps, especially ahead of an upcoming fixture.
However, Wenger praised key Spurs man Alli as having done “extremely well” and labelled him the “complete player” after previously scouting him while he was at MK Dons.
“I think we looked at him. he played down the road at Milton Keynes. He has done extremely well: developed into the complete player, very dangerous, scores goal, absolutely marvellous at his age,” told Wenger in his pre-match press conference, as quoted by the Telegraph.

“They’ve done well to buy him and give him a chance. They deserve credit for that.”
Alli made the switch to Tottenham in the 2015 winter window for a small cost of £5million.
He rejoined MK Dons on loan before being handed his chance in the Spurs first team at the start of the previous campaign.
The youngster seemingly hasn’t looked back either, winning the PFA Young Player of the Year award twice in his first two Premier League seasons after returning a fine 26 goals and 16 assists in 65 outings in England’s top-flight.
Alli has also proven key to helping Tottenham to compete for the Premier League title since joining and he will be aiming to continue this season’s impressive form against Arsenal on Sunday.
In other Tottenham news, Danny Higginbotham isn’t surprised this Spurs 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from the club.
