West Brom have no chance of signing Okay Yokuslu on a permanent deal unless they win their fight to stay in the top-flight.
That is according to ex-Baggies striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after another plaudit-pulling display from the on-loan midfielder in Thursday night’s 1-0 defeat to Everton.
Yokuslu finished the match with 98% passing accuracy, completed 3/3 dribbles and won 5/7 defensive duels (Wyscout).

The 26-year-old completed his loan move to the Midlands in February, signing from Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo.
He has been one of West Brom’s star performers since but has so far been unable to drag Sam Allardyce’s 19th-place side out of their desperate relegation battle.
And any hopes Albion harbour of snapping up the Turkey international are contingent on the outcome of the club’s fight to stay in the Premier League.
The well-connected father of Stoke City striker Tyrese Campbell told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs: “I’d have thought any hopes they have of signing him would be reliant on them staying up, definitely.
“No player wants to join a team who’s just been relegated. But I’m sure people will be watching the situation carefully.
“If West Brom do go down then it’s rich pickings – there are some good players there and Yokuslu is one of them.”
The defeat to Champions League-chasing Everton on Thursday night made West Brom’s task all the more difficult.
They are now nine points from safety with 11 games remaining, with 16th-place Brighton and 17th-place Newcastle both having played one less match.
