West Ham could sign Bowen 2.0 after ExWHUemployee update - Campbell
Kevin Campbell has claimed Millwall winger Jed Wallace would “be a great signing” for West Ham next year.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners and Everton striker suggested the 27-year-old could be the next Jarrod Bowen at the London Stadium.
According to Ex-WHUemployee (13th September), the Hammers have previously held an interest in Wallace and could revisit that at the end of the season.
The former England Under-19 international has entered the final 12 months of his contract at The Den and could be signed on a free next summer.
Wallace has enjoyed a fine start to the 2021-22 season, with three goals and two assists to his name in six Championship appearances.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on the potential arrival of the winger, Campbell said:

“Wallace is a solid Championship player. What David Moyes does is go for good, solid players who he can rely on.
“We have seen that with the signings of Bowen etc. That is really important for Moyes.
“He wants players who step up when the chips are down. He doesn’t want players who go missing when things start to go pear-shaped. Jed Wallace is a seasoned professional and I think he’d be a great signing for West Ham, just like Bowen.”
Moyes has frequently delved into the Championship market during his second spell at West Ham.
Jarrod Bowen, Craig Dawson, Said Benrahma and Darren Randolph have all be signed from second-tier sides.
