Kieran Maguire: There may be stadium protests after PAI's latest West Ham move
There could be protests at the London Stadium as West Ham fans try to force the owners to sell the club.
So says finance guru Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the latest developments in the PAI Capital takeover saga.
As reported by Sky Sports on 11 August, the consortium will not relent in their attempts to buy the club any time soon.
They claimed they provided proof of funds when an initial approach was tabled and rejected in February.
And the investment group has now enlisted the services of Rio and Anton Ferdinand as ambassadors for the mooted takeover.
Maguire claims the decision to get the Ferdinand brothers onboard will give PAI the oxygen of publicity.

“I think it is certainly appealing to the West Ham fanbase,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“They have been disappointed with many aspects of the ownership of David Gold and David Sullivan.
“By having people who are from a West Ham background like the Ferdinand brothers, you can see the benefits from PAI’s perspective.
“It does seem a little bit strange that they are playing out this in the public domain.
“But that could be to try and ensure that fans keep the pressure on Gold and Sullivan during matches. That may well be the aim.
“We have seen the fans express their disappointment by the pitch invasions at the London Stadium and things like that.“
