West Ham fans are overjoyed on Twitter after Robert Snodgrass reportedly put pen to paper on a deal worth £10million to take him from Hull City to the London Stadium.

Sky Sports revealed on their official Twitter account that Snodgrass had completed a move to east London, after the Hammers finally made a breakthrough in talks with a third bid.

An initial fee of £7million will be paid to Marco Silva’s Hull, with £3million in add-ons set to be paid in due course, as the 29-year-old joins his sixth professional club of his career.

With doubts surrounding the future of Dimitri Payet, Snodgrass has been brought in as Slaven Bilic looks to bolster his side in an attempt to continue their resurgent Premier League form.

West ham fans have taken to Twitter to post their delight at the move, with many impressed by the former Leeds and Norwich star who continues to shine in a side that are fighting against top-flight relegation.

Snodgrass has been in wonderful form this season, having a hand in 13 goals in just 24 appearances for the Tigers. Scoring nine goals, Snodgrass has conjured up four assists.

The Scot’s arrival could now spark the end of Frenchman Payet, with Marseille still said to be interested.
