West Ham fans took to Twitter to hail a sensational Dimitri Payet equaliser in their 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The Hammers ended a run of four successive league defeats by coming from behind to draw with Boro at the London Stadium.

The match will be remembered for the most outrageous goal yet from Payet, who has gained a reputation as one of the Premier League's most skilful and watchable players during his season-and-a-bit in England.

Taking possession on the left, the France international weaved his way across goal and past five defenders, before angling in a shot.

His effort cancelled out Cristhian Stuani's opener for Boro, with the Uruguayan heading home from a Viktor Fischer cross.

West Ham fans were delighted to witness such a memorable goal but expressed concern that the team is too reliant on Payet.
