West Ham fans on Twitter have shared their worries regarding Cheikhou Kouyate playing in the right-back position on Monday evening.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has been forced into the one change for the London Stadium clash with Michail Antonio missing out through suspension, resulting in Andy Carroll’s return.

The Croatian manager has decided to keep usual defensive midfield ace Kouyate in the full-back position, where he is likely to face Premeir League star Eden Hazard down his side of the pitch.

A number of Hammers fans on social media have already written off the 27-year-old’s chances against the Belgian with many believing him to be a weakness in their side.

Large sections of the West Ham fan base aired their worries via images and GIF’s, while one fan went as far as to call it a joke of a team.

Kouyate has played the last three West Ham matches in the full-back slot, resulting in four goals conceded.

With Sam Byram on the bench, Bilic will be sure to receive some criticism if Hazard does provide or get on the score sheet himself.

But, if the Hammers do manage a positive result against the table toppers then it will all be forgotten.
