West Ham are planning to sell Manuel Lanzini this summer if their £15million asking price is met, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

West Ham did not want to lose the Argentine attacking midfielder, 27, for the second half of the campaign despite the loan capture of Jesse Lingard.

But Lanzini's future is very much up in the air ahead of the year's main transfer window.

A West Ham source has told Football Insider that the club value Lanzini between £10m and £15m after he slipped down the pecking order in David Moyes' second spell at the club.

There was not only interest from European big guns PSG in the recent window.

Clubs in Turkey and the Middle-East were also keeping close tabs on the technically gifted playmaker, who has been capped five times by Argentina.

West Ham did not let Lanzini go but he is one of those who they will listen to offers for going into the summer.

He is not a regular member of their starting XI and has struggled for game time since Moyes returned 14 months ago for his second spell at the helm.

Lanzini has slipped further down the pecking order following the permanent capture of Said Benrahma and the deadline day loan signing of Lingard from Man United.

Lanzini has made just two Premier League starts among 15 appearances in all competitions this season.

He has scored one goal and provided three assists in those games, but his contribution is a far cry from a few years ago when he was one of the Hammers' star players.
