Slaven Bilic makes bold claim about Tottenham

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has called Tottenham the best team in the league ahead of their clash on Friday night.
Tottenham come into this game knowing that a win would put them within a point of league leaders Chelsea, as they look to leapfrog the Blues to secure their first ever Premier League title.
West Ham meanwhile know that victory would mean they were mathematically safe from relegation and ensure their spot in the top flight for another season.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic was full of praise for Friday’s visitors to the London Stadium, with Spurs on a nine game unbeaten run in the league.
He told West Ham’s official website: “We are playing, for me, the best team in the league.

“We will have to be on top of our game.”
Tottenham scored two goals in the last five minutes to break the Hammers’ hearts and clinch a 3-2 win in the reverse fixture, although Slaven Bilic got the better of counterpart Mauricio Pochettino last season with a 1-0 win at the Boleyn Ground.
The Croatian manager insists he will be looking to repeat last season’s positive performance, and his side’s chances will be boosted by the return of Andy Carroll.
The 28-year-old striker has missed the last two games with a groin injury, and despite some worries over his fitness, Bilic insists he will have a part to play.
“We’re going to approach it in a very positive way,” he told the club’s official website.
“I will be very disappointed if he (Carroll) is not involved.
“He won’t be available for 90 minutes, but you don’t need to play the whole game to be effective.
“It gives a lift to the team as we are lacking goals.”
In other West Ham news, Slaven Bilic made this admission about the club’s transfer activity.
