Bilic confident as West Ham table another bid for proven PL performer - report
By Matt Bullin
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is confident of signing Stoke City ace Marko Arnautovic this summer, according to a report.
The Times claim the Hammers will table a third bid for the 28-year-old attacker, after having two offers rejected already.
It is said that Bilic will have to take into account a 20 per cent sell-on clause owed to Werder Bremen as part of the £2million deal that Stoke signed Arnautovic in back in 2013.
However, the sell-on clause does not appear to be a sticking point for the Hammers, and Bilic is still confident of signing the Austrian international this summer, despite already having had a £20million bid turned down.
The report also states that West Ham have ended their interest in Arsenal front man Olivier Giroud.

Arnautovic was one of Stoke’s top performers last season, scoring seven goals in 35 league and cup games, as well as providing six assists.
The proven Premier League performer joined the Potters in 2013, and he has since made 145 appearances across all competitions for the club, which have yielded 26 goals and 32 assists.
Football Insider verdict
West Ham have been chasing Arnautovic for some time now, and the fact a third bid is set to be tabled is a signal they will not take no for an answer in their pursuit of the Austrian. The fact Bilic is also “confident” he will get his man is also a positive sign for the Hammers. However, if Stoke have already turned down a bid of £20million for the 28-year-old, the fee it will take to prise him away is unclear. Despite Arnautovic’s paltry goal return last season, he would still mark a good signing for the club – if they can get him for a reasonable price.
