West Ham told to agree big-money Jarrod Bowen deal 'quickly' amid 'sensational' verdict - pundit
Noel Whelan has urged West Ham to hand Jarrod Bowen a bumper new deal as quickly as possible as David Moyes looks to fend off rival interest.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 25-year-old’s stock could rise even more with a potential England call-up on the horizon.
This site revealed on Saturday (14 May) that West Ham are planning to open contract talks with Bowen within weeks as they look to fend off his growing list of admirers.
It is understood that Liverpool and another top-four Premier League side are keeping tabs on the forward.
He has three years left to run on his current contract.
Bowen has notched 18 goals and 13 assists across all competitions for West Ham this term and is nominated for the top-flight’s Player of the Season award.

Whelan suggested the “incredible” former Hull man is a shoo-in for an England call next month.
“If anyone deserves a new contract, it’s Jarrod Bowen,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“He’s been one of the most sensational buys in the recent history of West Ham.
“David Moyes put that trust in him, continues to do so – and he’s just getting better and better.
“He’s reliable, very rarely injured – and his numbers are just incredible.
“I’d imagine he’s an absolute joy to work with on the training ground, too. He seems a very level-headed young man.
“He’s very much in line for an England call-up – and if he doesn’t get one, there’s something wrong.
“West Ham will have to hurry up and get this done quickly before his stock rises even more.”
