West Ham told to complete Oxlade-Chamberlain signing after 'huge' Sky update - pundit
Kevin Campbell has told West Ham to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as an alternative to Jesse Lingard.
The former Arsenal hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on Lingard’s future.
According to Sky Sports (August 2nd), the Irons believe they only have a 10 percent chance of re-signing the Manchester United attacker.
Lingard thrived on loan at the London Stadium last season but the club may now have to look for alternative targets.
According to ExWHUemployee, speaking on The West Ham Way podcast (July 24th), the Irons could make a move to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan.
On 19th May, Football Insider revealed West Ham made an approach to assess the availability of the Liverpool attacker.

It is understood the Reds value ‘The Ox’ at around the £22million mark.
Oxlade-Chamberlain struggled for game time last season, having endured a terrible time with injuries since arriving at Anfield in 2017.
However, Campbell insists the Liverpool man would suit West Ham.
“He’s quick and direct,” Campbell told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs.
“He’s the type of player that would definitely suit West Ham.
“I’m not saying he’s a goalscorer in the same vein as Jesse Lingard but his game is speed.
“That’s huge in his game and he’s not playing at Liverpool.
“When you don’t play, there is always that risk you get sold or are forced to move on. He’d be a huge signing for West Ham.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain has made 104 appearances for Liverpool.
He has picked up a Champions League and Premier League winner’s medal during his time at Anfield.
