West Ham fear star forward Mohammed Kudus could push for a summer move away from the club, sources have told Football Insider.

The east Londoners’ failure to qualify for European football next season has thrown the Ghana international’s future into new doubt.

Sources say there is “huge” interest from fellow Premier League sides, including those in the Champions League, and top clubs across Europe in securing the 23-year-old’s services following his outstanding performances last season.

Lucas Paqueta’s betting charge has ended the prospect of the Brazilian midfielder securing his dream move to Manchester City this summer.

There is expected to be one marquee sale at the London Stadium this summer as the club looks to provide funds for new manager Julen Lopetegui.

Kudus is under contract until 2028 following his £38.5million move from Ajax last summer.

Mohammed Kudus could leave West Ham after Lucas Paqueta blow

Kudus has become a firm fans' favourite at the London Stadium after registering 14 goals and six assists in 45 appearances last season.

The Ghanaian built up a strong partnership with Paqueta as West Ham reached the Europa League quarter-finals before being dumped out of the competition by Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.

West Ham had expected to secure an £85million fee from Man City for Paqueta this summer, but Football Insider revealed on 31 May the move is now off as a result of the charges against the attacking midfielder for breaching the FA’s betting rules

Kudus is now likely to receive the majority of the attention as several top clubs are pondering whether to make a move to sign him this summer.
