Jarrod Bowen's West Ham agreement to include 'very nice bonus clause'
Jarrod Bowen's agreement to stay at West Ham United this summer likely includes a huge bonus clause for if promotion is achieved.
The contract also reportedly includes a release clause that will come into effect if the Hammers do not come straight back up.
Bowen confirmed last week that he will stay at West Ham this summer and lead the fight in the Championship, further establishing himself among Irons legend.
The 29-year-old is undoubtedly in the prime years of his career and would have had several suitors if he had decided to leave, but his desire to see the Hammers back in the Premier League has won out.
West Ham will hope that more players are inspired by their captain's actions, with suitors still circling at the London Stadium.

Despite West Ham's relegation, Bowen enjoyed yet another strong season in the Premier League.
The winger scored nine goals and provided 11 assists, hitting 20 goal contributions for the third straight top-flight campaign.
He could have quite easily sought as move away from West Ham, too, with Everton and Chelsea both linked strongly.
And should Bowen want to add more major trophies to the Conference League he led the Irons to in 2023, he likely would have needed to take one of those options.
Instead, he has chosen loyalty over success and legacy over money. That is not to say there is no financial reward for the 29-year-old, however.
"I would also imagine that he's got a very nice bonus clause in there as well if they do get promoted, which would mean that that's the kind of adjustment that's been made to his current contract," King told Football Insider.
"I wouldn't imagine his wages are going to change one bit, but I would imagine that, as you say, if they don't get promoted, there'll be a clause where he can leave the football club.
"If they do get promoted, he will be well paid for it." He added: "I don't think one year is going to make a lot of difference to it, but if he moves, it'll probably be for a very, very small fee, which will set him up financially anyway.
"Even if he goes for £30m or £25m, it'll guarantee he'll be receiving a big payday as well."

When Mateus Fernandes completed his £85m move to Tottenham earlier this summer, fans feared an exodus.
The reality has been quite the opposite, however. West Ham have kept many of their most important players, with Bowen being the most crucial.
"For me, the main thing is to get this club back into the Premier League and speak to people in the club about what we want to do moving forward as a club for the better of the club," He said after signing his revised deal.
"It was a no-brainer for me to be here and the vision is clear, it’s the Premier League.”
