Lucas Paqueta shared the love all the way from Brazil as West Ham United claimed an all-important win over Everton on Saturday.

Tomas Soucek got the ball rolling at the London Stadium on 25 April, and despite a very late equaliser from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Nuno Espirito Santo's side secured three points.

Instead of falling deflated by the Toffees' 88th-minute strike, the Hammers pushed forward, with Callum Wilson stepping up in the second minute of added time to send the London Stadium crowd berserk.

West Ham stayed out of the Premier League relegation zone, even though Tottenham defeated Wolves in a narrow 1-0 win, and Paqueta was sure to express his love for his former club from afar.

The Brazilian was hardly the same after being charged by the FA for betting breaches, and it was clear that he wanted a return to his home country, rather than staying any longer in the Premier League.

Despite facing a lot of criticism for this decision, alongside some of his performances, he clearly still holds the Hammers close to his heart, watching their home victory and sharing a message online.

Just a few minutes after the Czechia star hit the back of the net, Paqueta took to Instagram stories (25 April), tagging the goalscorer in his post, with the caption: "Tomas Soucek again ole oleeeee".

If the 28-year-old Flamengo star was still watching at the full-time whistle, he would have needed a moment for his heart rate to come back down, much like everyone at the London Stadium this weekend.

What does Soucek's future hold at West Ham?

Football Insider revealed last month that West Ham are open to selling Soucek ahead of the summer window, but that stance could, and probably should, change over the next few weeks.

It has been a difficult campaign for everyone in East London, but the 31-year-old continues to come up with vital moments, having previously done so against Man United in February.

With four goals in the Premier League, Soucek has been far from his best. The same could be said for most of his teammates, though, which is why relegation remains a fear for the Irons.

Nuno could certainly reconsider the player's future in the remaining few matches of the campaign, especially given his current lack of options in the middle of the park.
