West Ham United are exploring a late move to sign Swansea City centre-back Ben Cabango, sources have told Football Insider.

The Hammers are working to try and bolster their defensive options ahead of Tuesday night's 11pm transfer deadline.

Cabango has been identified as a strong option for the East London outfit, who are now preparing a late move to try and sign the 26-year-old.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side are winless in their opening three league games of the season, but could potentially be boosted by the defender's arrival.

Cabango was a key player for Swansea last term, and failed to start in just one of the 46 Championship fixtures in 2025-26.
