Noel Whelan claims Tyler Roberts faces a massive summer as his Leeds United future remains up in the air.
The former Whites hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claims Roberts has to make the most of this summer’s European Championship.
On Sunday, Wales announced their squad for the upcoming tournament and Roberts was included as one of their forwards.

Football Insider understands Leeds have offered Roberts a new long-term deal and a source has revealed the latest is he has yet to accept it as he bides his time.
Newcastle United are one of a number of clubs keeping tabs on the versatile attacker’s situation ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Roberts will enter the final 12 months of his contract at Elland Road this summer.
Whelan remains unconvinced over Roberts and claims he won’t be starting for Leeds next season.
“Yeah, that’s the thing with these international tournaments,” Whelan told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They put people on the map and you can either make it or break it. With Leeds this season, he’s been given a long spell of games to convince Bielsa he’s worth keeping.
“In my opinion, I’m still undecided. I don’t think he affected the game during his time on the field.
“As a number ten, you have to do more than he did. This is a massive tournament for him.
“The only thing tempting me to keep him at Leeds is the fact that he’s young. He may still have a bit of growth to come.
“If there’s interest from Newcastle and the contract isn’t signed, he might feel he needs a new start in his career. It’s massive to leave a club like Leeds.
“But once he comes back to Leeds I doubt he’ll start considering how Rodrigo finished the season.”
