Whelan hails 'massive bargain' as he reveals how much Leeds will be paying for Harrison
Noel Whelan has hailed Jack Harrison’s imminent permanent switch to Leeds United as an “absolute snip”.
The former Whites hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, has been blown away by the attacker’s transfer fee.
As revealed by Football Insider back in December, Leeds have a £10million purchase clause in place for the 24-year-old.
A Leeds source has told Football Insider the club are expected to trigger the eight-figure clause during the summer.
Harrison has spent the last three years on loan at Elland Road from Manchester City.
He has made 128 appearances for the Whites despite not actaully being a Leeds player.

Whelan, who goes to every Leeds match as a pundit and is well connected at his old club, has hailed the transfer as a “massive bargain” and tipped Harrison to break into the England squad.
“I think the deal is £11million,” Whelan told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge.
“That’s what was agreed. It was £2million on the £9million from last season when we took him on loan.
“It’s an absolute snip. He is Leeds United now. He’s been here for years now, it’s his home.
“We saw progression last season and how important he is. I think he’ll be pushing for an England call up in the near future.
“If he keeps putting in those levels of performance with assists and goals and his overall game then we have a massive bargain on our hands.
“If you look at the wings, Raphinha and Harrison, that’s not even £30million for the two of them. A real bargain.”
Harrison scored eight goals in his debut Premier League season.
He also picked up eight assists as Leeds finished ninth.
