Celtic should consider making a summer move for winger Oliver Burke from German club RB Leipzig.
The Daily Mirror reported on their transfer blog on Tuesday (4:02pm) that Premier League sides Huddersfield and Brighton are keen on taking the 20-year-old on loan next season.
He completed a £13million move to the Bundesliga side in 2016 from Nottingham Forest and had a mixed first season with the club.
Leipzig managed to finish an impressive second in the league table to qualify for the Champions League, but Burke played a fringe role in the squad.
The Scotland international made 25 appearances for them, scoring one goal and supplying two assists in return.
Celtic are in desperate need of a new right winger following the departure of loanee Patrick Roberts and Burke could be the perfect replacement.
Brendan Rodgers’ side would surely have the advantage over Premier League sides interested in the youngster as they too can offer Champions League next year.
The Bhoys are fresh off the back of an unbeaten domestic treble and are an extremely attractive outfit to join.
Celtic representatives should know all about the talent of the Scotsman and pursue a loan move for him in the summer.
He burst on to the scene at Nottingham Forest and was tipped for a huge future, but needs to be experiencing regular first-team football if he is to develop into a superstar.
Burke has great trickery and an eye for goal, something that could make him a hit at Celtic Park if signed.
In other Celtic transfer news, the club’s £15million-rated star is being eyed by Premier League scouts.
