Wolves have rejected a £12million bid from Fulham for attacker Ivan Cavaleiro, according to a reliable journalist.
Sky Sports correspondent Kaveh Solhekol has claimed on his personal Twitter account that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have turned down the initial offer for the 24-year-old.
Both teams are Premier League new-boys going into the new campaign after they were promoted from the Championship last season.

Football Insider verdict:
Cavaleiro was one of several star players to help Wolves win the Championship title last season in style and knocking back the eight-figure bid from Fulham was the right thing to do. The right-winger has bundles of pace and trickery, something that saw him terrorise full-backs at will. He is a Portuguese wide man that should only get better at Molineux with age and should be kept to see how he performs in the Premier League. The Portuguese ace made 46 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring nine goals and supplying 13 assists in return. Wolves have a core group of players that should be able to make the step up in class next year and Cavaleiro definitely deserves to be a key part of Nuno’s squad. It would also make very little sense to directly strengthen a league rival in Fulham, who could turn out to be a relegation rivals next season.
In other Wolves transfer news, they are in the hunt to sign a £1.7million-a-year playmaker.
