Premier League new boys Wolves are making a move to sign highly-rated Swedish striker Joel Mumbongo, Football Insider understands.
Mumbongo, 19, is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Sweden and he has represented the country at Under-19s level.
Mumbongo has been tipped for a bright future for some time and has undergone trials at Manchester City and Everton in the past.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that the powerful forward impressed during his training stints with the two Premier League clubs and they tried to sign him, but Mumbongo opted to stay in Sweden to finish his studies.
City and Everton have continued to keep tabs on Mumbongo's progress since his trials at the two clubs and they could rekindle their interest in the player.
Mumbongo who was Swedish champions for 100m two years ago, is currently plying his trade at Utsiktens BK after leaving Hacken in February and he has scored one goal in four appearances so far for his new club.
Wolves have been alerted to Mumbongo's potential and they see him as a star in the making who they can develop into a first-team player at Molineux.
