Could Wolves star Pedro Neto be set for a departure from Molineux in the summer?

Wolves star Pedro Neto is expected to attract bids in the summer amid strong interest from Arsenal, sources have told Football Insider.

The left-footed forward has been back to his best in recent weeks after eight Premier League games out with a hamstring injury and has piqued the interest of big top-flight sides.

It is believed that Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Portugal international and will be monitoring his situation at Molineux closely.

Well-placed sources have also told Football Insider that Liverpool are also fans of Neto and could enter the race to sign him alongside the Gunners in the summer.

Clubs across Europe are also interested in the electrifying 23-year-old and will be closely watching him at the Euros should he be selected by his nation.

This could force the West Midlands side to sell some of their key stars, with sources telling Football Insider (9 February) that Neto could be sold to unlock funds for deals of their own and to alleviate financial concerns.

Neto has bagged three goals in all competitions for Gary O'Neil's side this season and is currently joint-second in the Premier League for assists with eight.
