Kevin Phillips has heaped praise on Tomas Soucek after West Ham jumped into the top four with a 2-1 win over Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Sunderland and England striker claimed the 25-year-old is one of the key men behind the Hammers success this season.
Soucek has been ever-present for the Hammers this season and is their top goalscorer with eight Premier League goals.

Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Manchester United are keeping tabs on the midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.
When told about Soucek’s statistical success this season, Phillips told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs: “Wow, I did not know that.
“Soucek has been superb this season. He is the master of arriving late into the box and he is great from set plays.
“He is a great asset for David Moyes and he is one of the main reasons they are enjoying so much success this year.”
Speaking after Sunday’s win over Spurs at the London Stadium, Moyes told Sky Sports: “A great win for us against a tough opponent. We are enjoying it but are also not going to be daft.
“We will keep calm about and hopefully keep pushing the teams at the top.”
