By Danny Wright
Antonio Conte is well aware of the threat that Tottenham pose to Chelsea’s chances of winning the Premier League.
The Italian boss saw his team suffer a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Easter Sunday which leaves them just four points clear at the top of the table.
Seven consecutive wins for Tottenham has seen Chelsea begin to buckle under pressure and Conte has swallowed his pride and made an incredible claim – confessing Spurs are “the best team” in the division.
At the beginning of April, Chelsea held a ten point lead over Spurs but two defeats in four games has seen Mauricio Pochettino’s side begin to reel in their London rivals.
The Argentine has been in a war of words with Conte in recent weeks as the title race has began to heat up.

However Conte has now held his hands up and admitted that he faces a hard job to prevent Tottenham from winning their maiden Premier League title.
“It won’t be easy because I think now Tottenham is the best team in great form,” said Conte, in a video on the Guardian Sport Twitter page.
“They have a lot of enthusiasm because they are sensing the possibility of writing their history.”

His side blew away Bournemouth on Saturday in a mesmeric display which saw Mousa Dembele, Son Heung-Min, Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen contribute to a 4-0 win at White Hart Lane.
