Danny Mills has claimed Eric Dier could be sold by Tottenham this summer following the club-record signing of Tanguy Ndombele.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former England international says Dier will be concerned where he stands in the Spurs pecking order after already losing his regular starting role last season.
Tottenham announced today they have signed Ndombele in a club-record deal that Lyon later confirmed is worth £54million plus £9million of add-ons.

It means Mauricio Pochettino will have real competition for places next season, with Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Victor Wanyama and Dier challenging Ndombele for a starting place.
“Tottenham haven’t spent an incredible amount of money on Ndombele to put him on the bench,” Mills told Football Insider. “When he’s fit, he plays, simple as that..
“Moussa Sissoko will probably be the first choice to partner him in central midfield, with Harry Winks the other main option. He’s had a lot of injuries so can’t be expected to always be available.
“It could be curtains for Eric Dier. You fear for him, you really do. He didn’t have a good season last year, and I can see him leaving if Tottenham need to recoup some money.”
Dier has been tracked by Manchester United in recent windows and has entered the final two years of his contract at White Hart Lane.
Capped 40 times by England, the 25-year-old has made 209 appearances for Spurs since joining from Sporting Lisbon in 2014, the majority of which have been in midfield.
In other Spurs news, it can be REVEALED that the club have pulled out of the race to sign a top-notch international midfielder.
