Tottenham have agreed a loan move with Marseille for Clinton N’Jie and the forward has undergone a medical, according to a report.
The Mirror claim that N’Jie will leave Spurs initially on loan to Marseille, with a £7million permanent move also agreed that will be triggered by a number of easily-achievable milestones.
N’Jie now needs to finalise personal terms with the Ligue 1 giants after already undergoing medical tests in London.
The Cameroon international still has four-years left on his contract, but it looks like his time at Spurs is coming to a premature end.
The 22-year-old joined the White Hart Lane club last summer in a deal worth £14million, but has struggled to break into the Premier League side after suffering injuries and mixed form.
He has made 14 appearances but failed to score a single goal for Spurs after predominantly being used in a wide role.
Mauricio Pochettino has added another forward to his side this summer in the shape of Holland international Vincent Janssen, and N’Jie had found himself further down the pecking order at the club.
Daniel Levy is also negotiating an incoming deal with Marseille, as the club have agreed a fee of £10.8million for Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Leicester’s Claudio Ranieri is keen on former Spurs defender Vedran Corluka.
