Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped wonderkid Dane Scarlett to make a big impression on the Tottenham first-team next season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England striker suggested there will be a lot of outgoings at Spurs in the summer that could afford the teenager an opportunity to shine.
The 17-year-old forward agreed his first professional contract this week after featuring in three games this season.
We are delighted to announce that Dane Scarlett’s first professional contract with the Club has now been formalised.

Scarlett became Spurs’ youngest ever player in the Premier League when he was introduced from the bench in the dying moments of their win over West Brom in February.
At youth level, he has notched an incredible 22 goals in 18 games, including five in a 6-2 win over Newport County in the FA Youth Cup.
Asked whether the Englishman could benefit from a loan move next season, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I’d have him around the first-team and see what happens.

“I’ve heard he’s a very good player.
“I’m sure Jose Mourinho will give him the opportunity if he’s good enough.
“Sometimes young players should go on loan but I feel Spurs might move on some players. So I think he should stay and try and get involved.
“They will be involved in a lot of competitions as well.”
Meanwhile, Gareth Bale has opened up on his plans to return to Real Madrid at the end of his loan in the summer.
