Agbonlahor shares three-word verdict on Gerrard quitting Rangers for Tottenham after report
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Steven Gerrard would not quit Rangers for Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward claimed Gerrard will spend the next couple of seasons at Ibrox.
The London Evening Standard reported on 25 June the ex-England midfielder was on Spurs’ radar.
Football Insider learned on the same day Nuno Espirito Santo has agreed personal terms with Tottenham.
The finer details still need to be ironed out but he is the current favourite to succeed Jose Mourinho in north London.
Nuno left Wolves at the end of last season and has been championed by Spurs’ new managing director Fabio Paratici.

Asked whether Gerrard would be tempted by the Spurs job, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “No, no, no.
“Steven Gerrard wouldn’t take any other job now. He’s just won the league title with Rangers and got them into the Champions League qualifiers. He’ll want to have a good go at that.
“He’ll want to win the league again and get into the Champions League group stages.
“If you give Steven Gerrard a couple more years at Rangers then he might look at another club and we might talk about him leaving. But you’ve got to give him another couple of years.”
Gerrard has been in charge of Rangers for three seasons and secured his first trophy with the Scottish Premiership title last term.
He is now set to lead the Gers in their first Champions League campaign for over a decade.
