Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Adama Traore to leave Wolves this summer.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward claimed the winger is "frustrated" as his poor stats do not tell the full story of his season.

Traore has registered just two goals and two assists in 35 Premier League games this term and they have all come in his last seven games.

However, he has actually registered 5.3 expected assists, according to FBRef, meaning his teammates have squandered the chances he has created.

And Agbonlahor has claimed that would suit both the club and Traore.

He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “In his head, he wants a move.

“I’m sure he’s been negotiating a new deal and it hasn’t worked so I’m sure he’ll want to leave.

“The club’s strikers and midfielders haven’t performed for him. In a lot of games, he’s been outstanding but there are too many people missing chances.

“Because [Raul] Jimenez has been out they’ve missed chances and it’s cost him assists.

“Definitely I reckon he’ll be looking at a move and maybe it’s something that would work for both club and player.

“He looks like he’s frustrated there. People will look at his stats and his stats haven’t been good this season.”

Wolves joint top goalscorers this season are Pedro Neto and Reuben Neves who both have five goals.

They have severely missed a striker as they are set to finish in their lowest position since returning to the Premier League three years ago.
