The agent of star left-back Danny Rose is set to meet Tottenham chief Daniel Levy for talks on Wednesday after a breakdown in his relationship with Mauricio Pochettino, according to a report.
ESPN have claimed on their website that the 27-year-old wants to leave north London before the transfer deadline with Premier League giants Manchester United interested.
However, tough negotiator Levy is also said to reiterate to Rose that he is not for sale with Spurs keen to keep hold of their key players following the departure of Kyle Walker earlier in the summer.
It is also detailed that Rose and Pochettino have had a breakdown in their relationship and that the England international has not spoken privately to the Argentine since the left-back’s outspoken interview regarding the club’s wage structure.
Rose is still contracted to Tottenham until 2021, but he has not played for the club since January due to injury.

Football Insider verdict:
The good thing with Tottenham is that they know Levy will always strike a good deal for the club in terms of outgoings and fans will be delighted to see the chairman is so far unwilling to budge on his stance that Rose is not for sale. The left-back was a key part of the Tottenham team last season and even finished in the PFA Team of the Year despite missing the entirety of the second half of the season. Therefore, Spurs must ensure they get back onto Rose’s good side and the full-back star could be like a new signing this season.
