Alfredo Morelos has 'thrown his toys out of the pram' at Rangers after source's update today - expert
Alan Hutton has claimed Alfredo Morelos has “thrown his toys out the pram” at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender said Morelos’ attitude hasn’t been the same since his return from injury this season.
The 26-year-old has made 29 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Light Blues this season and has scored nine goals and provided six assists in those outings.
The striker has only featured in the starting XI for ten of those games and his previous three appearances have come from the bench.
Morelos, who is out of contract at the end of the season, struggled to oust Antonio Colak from the starting lineup under Giovanni van Bronckhorst and in recent weeks under Michael Beale.
Football Insider revealed today (21 March), that the Gers are set to sit down with Morelos over the next week in an attempt to clarify his future.

Hutton suggested Morelos won’t be happy to be second best.
“When you look at the last couple of seasons there has been a lot of chatter about him leaving,” he told Football Insider.
“Then Colak came in and he had the injury, missed the [Europa League] final.
“Part of me thinks that he thought he was going to be first choice as soon as he was back fit.
“It did not work out that way and it seemed like he kind of threw his toys out the pram a little bit when he did not come in as the main guy.
“In recent weeks we have seen him playing at a better level, a better standard and it looks like he is looking after himself. But, is he up for the fight with Colak? Only he can tell us that.“
