Arne Slot will be without Conor Bradley for several weeks after the Liverpool star returned to Anfield with a new injury.

Bradley is joined by Florian Wirtz on the treatment table, with Alisson, Giovanni Leoni, and Jeremie Frimpong missing as Liverpool lost 3-0 to Man City ahead of the international break.

The Reds are currently sitting eighth in the Premier League table, a far cry from the form that saw them lift the league title during Slot's first season in England.

Slot is under pressure as Liverpool boss due to a run of poor results, and their chances of getting back to winning ways against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, 22 November, have taken a hit.

Arne Slot confirms frustrating injury to Conor Bradley

Speaking to the press (21 November), Slot said: “Florian Wirtz suffered a muscle injury and won’t be available this weekend. Conor Bradley also suffered a muscle injury.

"I expect Bradley to be out for the next three weeks; for Florian, it should be shorter," and supporters are likely to be more worried about the Northern Irishman due to the lack of options at right-back.

Dominik Szoboszlai could feature out of position again, but due to his talents in the final third combined with Wirtz's injury, it is difficult to see Slot pushing him back into defence.

That would leave Joe Gomez as the main contender for the position, but with just six Premier League starts over the last two seasons, it could be a tricky period without a natural right-back.
