Leeds United fans took to social media to share their opinion on the new owners of West Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.
Barnsley have been taken over by a Chinese consortium as of Tuesday, with the new consortium including a Chinese billionaire and the man who was the inspiration for the film Moneyball.
The takeover means that after 19 years at the club, Patrick Cryne is no longer the recognised owner.
The club issued an official statement thanking those involved in the process, included the league,as the club starts a new chapter in its history.
Leeds United fans took to Twitter to comment on the huge development at their local rivals, with one fan saying the club had made it all about Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday.
Another fan asked where the Chinese billionaire was when Leeds were available to purchase in the past and there were many fans who just wanted to reiterate that they were still the bigger club.
Here are the best reaction from Leeds fans regarding Barnsley new owners:
A "Leeds" fan getting jelous at Barnsley 😂😂
Go support them then if it bothers you that much, but they'll never understand the true meaning of being Leeds which Radz is getting better at every day.

I genuinely wouldn’t want a chinese owner, don’t think I could connect with the owner and I’m happy how we are being run, Chinese owners are unpredictable I’d say

The Whites sit seventh in the Championship, one point behind Aston Villa and Sheffield United, and know that win against Hull City on Saturday would move them into the play-off positions.
Meanwhile, Barnsley sit 20th, 15 fewer points than Leeds United.
