Andrea Radrizzani issues message to Leeds fans, makes claim about loss v Derby
By Danny Wright
Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has made it clear that he understands the fans’ frustrations after yet another defeat on Tuesday.
The Whites squandered an early lead to lose 2-1 to Derby at Elland Road, which resulted in Gary Rowett’s leapfrogging the Yorkshire side in the Championship standings as they continued to fall down the table.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga looked to have got Leeds off on their way to victory and after an hour of action, many would have predicted that it would be a straightforward three points.
However Derby came back into the game and two goals from Sam Winnall in the 72nd and 80th minute resigned Leeds to losing for the fifth time in their last six league matches.
After the game, Radrizzani took to his personal Twitter account in a bid to calm down the angry supporters, some of whom were calling for manager Thomas Christiansen to be sacked.

However the Italian businessman claimed that he is understanding of the situation, while claiming that Leeds were unlucky to have walked away empty handed against the Rams.
“I hear all your disappointment for the negative results but tonight I feel proud to be Leeds. We played well and deserved much more,” he said.

Leeds were top of the Championship table in September after a brilliant run of form but now find themselves sixth and just three points away from 14th-placed Sheffield Wednesday as the mid-table remains compact after 15 matches.
Since losing to Millwall in mid-September, Christiansen has overseen a spate of poor results, including reverses to the likes of local rivals Sheffield United and Wednesday and promotion candidates Cardiff.
