Andy Couzens: This is what Leeds must do against Sheffield Wednesday
By Will Butcher
Andy Couzens has challenged Leeds to secure all three points in a “massive game” against Sheffield Wednesday next Saturday after drawing against Ipswich.
Garry Monk’s side failed to capitalise on Stuart Dallas’ 42nd-minute equaliser at Portman Road, as the referee blew the full-time whistle with the scoreline reading 1-1.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, former Leeds player Couzens claimed that a win against Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday is a “must” in six days’ time at Elland Road.

Signs of Leeds’ recent shaky form were present on Saturday as the Tractor Boys took the lead in just the ninth minute through versatile attacker Freddie Sears.
However, Dallas restored parity just before the break with his third goal of the season, slotting home at the back post to level the scores.

On what was a difficult pitch, Monk’s ethos of keeping possession saw Leeds lose the ball on numerous occasions against Mick McCarthy’s men, who favour a more direct approach.
Now, Leeds look ahead to Saturday’s huge derby against fellow high flyers Wednesday, as they aim to do the double over the owls with their 19th Championship win of the season.
Goals from Marcus Antonsson and Chris Wood saw Monk’s men earn a 2-0 win at Hillsborough last time out, and another three points could see Leeds move into third.
