Eunan O'Kane played the full 90 minutes for Leeds in their 1-1 draw against Ipswich on Saturday - and fans took to Twitter to offer mixed opinions on his performance.

The central midfielder started his second match of the week after being given the nod to line up in central midfield alongside teenager Ronaldo Vieira.

The duo were given the nod by manager Garry Monk to be paired for the second consecutive match even though Liam Bridcutt was available again after serving a one-match suspension.

Vieira only lasted 45 minutes and was substituted at half-time, with the score at 1-1, as Monk brought on skipper Bridcutt to partner O'Kane.

It enabled Leeds to hang on to a point in a scrappy match against Mick McCarthy's side as the visitors kept their promotion bid on track.

Leeds fans offered different verdicts on O'Kane's performance, with some panning his passing and ability to control the midfield, while one claimed he was being unfairly picked on by fans eager for a scapegoat.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

O'Kane joined Leeds from Premier League club Bournemouth last summer on a permanent transfer.

He has been a regular in Garry Monk's side for most of the campaign, although he struggled to win back his place in the starting XI after six weeks out with a groin injury.

Following a short spell on the substitute's bench, O'Kane has been back in favour this week and his start against Ipswich was his second in five days.
