By John Reid
Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney signed a new six-year contract which will keep him at Celtic Park until 2023, and Celtic fans are delighted.
The much talked about player has established himself as a first-choice pick for Celtic and Scotland at only 20-years of age.
Following a first team debut at 18, Tierney hasn’t looked back and is perhaps Celtic’s most important player.
He recently captained Celtic and is seen as the natural successor to Scott Brown as the next permanent skipper.
The player has been reportedly watched by Tottenham scouts in recent weeks but the new contract should keep him at Celtic for a while yet.

Tierney should be in action for Celtic tonight against Bayern Munich in the Champions League Group Stage.
Celtic need a win to try and keep their hopes of qualifying for the last sixteen alive for another season.
Tierney was one of the few Celtic players to acquit themselves well in Munich two weeks ago.
The game is a good opportunity for him to show the footballing world why the Celtic fans rate him so highly.
